Positive: Very tranquil location.

Negative: .1. Strong sulphurous taste to the water from the tap. We had to use bottled water throughout the stay. 2. It was nice having two toilets, but they were both together near the entrance to the property, and some distance from the bedrooms, particularly for the people sleeping upstairs. 3. My wife has limited mobility and the access to the property from the parking area to the door of the cottage was not ideal (I realise I should have checked this in advance.) 4. The grass round the cottage had not been cut for a while, which made it difficult to spot all the dog poos. I hope we didn't leave any mess. If so, apologies - that was the reason.

Summary: A very pleasant stay, apart from the water.

Positive: Lovely cosy cottage & a fantastic location. Tranquil & peaceful surroundings being off the beaten track with great walks from the door. Very well equipped & comfy beds all the bedrooms were really spacious & spotlessly clean. Louise was really helpful & friendly nothing too much trouble.

Negative: The only negative was having to come downstairs to the bathroom. It's a shame there wasn't an upstairs toilet.

Positive: Lovely cottage, great location. Friendly hosts. House is well equipped and cosy. Great value for the price we paid. Beautiful garden with visits from a friendly horse!

Negative: The shower had zero power. It was just a dribble of water and really impossible to shower using it during the stay.

Positive: Location is beautiful, quiet and peaceful. Nice walks near the property. Shop 5 minutes away. Owner very friendly. Beautiful horse that greets you at the fence every morning followed by an orphaned calf.

Negative: Shower very low pressure, water just trickled out. Feel that £30 per dog is over priced. I understand its incase any damage has been done but the dogs left the house when ever we did 1 is a labrador and 1 is an elderly king charles, when In the cottage they remained in their crates (due to being exhausted from the outing) any mess exterior ie poo was cleaned up by us straight away. Interior wise you wouldn't even think any dogs had been there, but was still charged £60.

Negative: A few of the radiators need bleeding..we had to use a storage heater.
