Michael and the team made us feel very welcome and they helped us to get settled nicely. Location is super nice and the kids loved the many animals. Food was exceptionally good. We will certainly come back!

Positive: What a beautiful location. What an incredible eye for detail. So much love has been put into this place. So many little things to admire and enjoy. Despite all the trinkets, dust, and so many different places to hang out, everything is spotless clean. All of this comes next to the beautiful view over the mountains, and the opportunity to walk among them. Additionally, it is a working farm with friendly dogs and cats (cat Alfred sat on my lap during dinner), horses, donkeys, pigs, goats, calves and other animals. Most of these animals walk around freely, and must have a great life. It is located after six kilometres of mountainous dirt road from the main road and dozens of kilometres from Windhoek. This means the stars at night are beautiful, and we heard jackals and baboons calling during the night.
Negative: Two things to improve: a thing to put your soap on in the shower. And the name does not really seem to fit the place. When I first saw the name, I expected it would be some kind of generic backpackers place, so I made a point of checking the reviews and photos before being assured that it was not. In actual fact, it is a lot more attractive, beautiful and clean, than you would expect from such a name.
Summary: Surpassed expectations

Summary: Wonderful Place
