Positive: The booking process and contact with the host was easy, as the host provided his mobile phone to be able to check availability for following visits. I required parking and booking a space was approved by the host immediately after confirmimg my stay on booking.com site

Negative: The only thing I could have done with was a bedside lamp to be able to read in bed without getting up to turn off the room light. This was the only item that could have beemn better

Positive: The price was fair, the room became snug and warm, the TV was a good size. There was plenty of hot water. The owner was very welcoming. It was easy to find, an acceptable walk from Romford Station.

Negative: I was frequently asked for my arrival time. The toilet was private, but it was across the hall and down a corridor, the shower was ensuite which was much better. The floor was wood effect, as I presume was the one upstairs so I could hear every move by the occupant for a lot of the evening. The idea of a microwave is good, but not if it replaces a bedside light. I had to ask for the WiFi code by Text, it worked okay when I got it.

Positive: The room was the cheapest I found on Booking.com in that general area and although the accommodation is fairly basic the property was clean, the bed was comfortable and the en-suite had a good shower, decent toilet paper and everything was clean. My room had a small fridge, a microwave and a flat screen TV

Negative: there was no lamp by the bed, as there was no socket in that location. Not a problem for me as I always take a torch.

Positive: The owner replied quickly to my queries and was helpful. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable. It was very good value for money. There was a shower and small sink in the room and a toilet close by for my personal use. There was a fridge and microwave in the room.

Negative: The bed was comfortable but had squeaky springs.
