Summary: Quaint & homey inn in a GORGEOUS area. Be forewarned that all the eateries in town close by 7PM.... I got a gas station pizza, which was surprisingly good, tho ;)

Summary: This is one of the most quaint places I've stayed at. Building was built in early 1900's but has been refurbished inside with modern features but retains the old craftsman look and feel. Our room was larger than I expected. Bathroom was spacious and modern. The sink was smaller than expected but made sense actually. Extremely quiet. Monterey has very little activity. Still, it was a perfect place to stay because we were here to ride the Cass Scenic Railroad. The breakfast is definitely a highlight. Do order it when you make your reservations. The portions are large and every dish is wonderful.

Summary: This little Inn is amazing. Great staff. Great bed, fully adjustable including anti gravity setting. Very cool. Breakfast wasn’t available during my stay due to kitchen renovations. However, they did cover my breakfast at Claire’s bakery & cafe which was excellent. Everyone in this town was incredibly friendly. I highly recommend this Inn.
