Positive: Great place. Nice my Locatel near the beach and loads of restaurants. Lovely friendly service with nice dogs. Clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.

Negative: Nothing. The beach itself is littered but nothing to do with the hotel

Positive: This was the perfect place to relax after a few long bus days. The hosts were lovely and had a very cute puppy. Well equipped kitchen with drinking water. We were the only guests so had plenty of privacy & space. Shower was hot and bed was comfy. Would definitely stay here again

Positive: Perfect location walking distance from everything....very clean and comfortable and very quiet .....we booked for 2 nights but we ended up staying for 5....the hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Positive: Montemar is a familyfriendly, safe, quiet and clean apart hotel. The place is a beautiful, green and colorful oasis close to the beach and next to the overlooking mountain. The owners, Edwin, his wife Gabriela, his brother George and their cute little dog Jagger, are very friendly and will make you feel welcome. The place has an interesting story dating back to the time of the Incas, and maybe even futher back. There are two swimmingpools, lots of sun-chairs and different outdoor spots to relax in and out of the sun. There is one big family room with a kitchen and the other rooms in different sizes all have fridges and comfortable beds. There is also a shared kitchen. Edwin or George often make a fire in the outdoor fireplace in the evenings, creating a cozy outdoor atmosphere under the moon and stars. They will happily show you their «one-match» fire-technique and share interesting stories.

Negative: We should have stayed more days.
