Positive: Setting was amazing, thr grounds are beautiful and the flowers smell incredible. Lunch and dinner was tasty. Room size was big and really liked the separate wardrobe area Staff very nice and helpful on reception

Negative: The pool area really needs some tlc and cleaning. A lot of sunbeds need a proper brush down and broken ones taken away, the floor needs sweeping daily, the pool bar was never open. There is advertised a kids play area but this is very disused as lots of cobwebs and dust, not a clean safe space for kids. 2 swings, 1 broken.

Positive: Outside space, swimming pool and garden were very nice. Dinner at the restaurant was very tasty with friendly service overall throughout the stay. The property overall has a great potential and wonderful outdoors.

Negative: Property and in particular room and bathroom need a real update. The room was spacious however no working TV, Sky Box was apparently out of service sent out for repair, Wifi didn’t work at all throughout the property and no good 4G connection in the room. Bathroom had a leak on the ceiling above the toilet with large a damp patch and creating a pool of water around/on the toilet. The receptionist offered a bottle of wine at checkout which was a nice gesture to compensate (thank you again). Breakfast room crowded and badly organised, breakfast food wasn’t great either. Overall feel that it definitely wasn’t worth the price (and the 4* rating) for 2 nights, which was substantial compared to the other quality accommodations we visited during our stay in the area.

Summary: Property with great potential however needs to be better looked after and in desperate need of an update, in particular
