Positive: Centrally located to great cafes and shops.

Negative: The unit was dirty. Overhead fan above the stove was filthy, we didn’t cook once. The coffee machine was missing its innards. The balcony door and screen couldn’t be locked. The carpets were in a bad need of cleaning. There were smear marks on the kitchen cupboards. There were old uncollected letters or bills to the owner or previous tenants in a cupboard. The bathroom floor was covered in stains between the grouting and the shower flooded out! The drain obviously needs attention. I communicated all this but it didn’t lead to a solution. I received a message saying that they overlooked cleaning the unit! See following;- “I apologize for the delay in responding to your message and any inconvenience caused. We understand your concern and will ensure better communication going forward. Regarding the cleaning issue, our team overlooked it, and we are correcting it immediately. Please feel free to reach out if there's anything else you need assistance with” The previous guests had tidied up as well as they could. The beds and towels were all fresh but that was it. I’m convinced the owners are not aware that their gorgeous property is not being properly managed. We paid over $ 2000 for the 5 days we booked, the usual rent is $850 per week. We had booked an apartment with 154 sq m at Oceana on Broadbeach for 7 days, our next stop on our holiday, for a similar fee, it was absolutely spotless, and worth every expensive cent. In West End we felt we were completely ripped off! Hands off this property!

Positive: Great location, above fabulous dining options. Lovely view of city from the balcony and great pool facility. Super comfy beds, clean and spacious. Fully equip with home away from home essentials.

Negative: Nothing we didn’t like, however some feedback is the dining chairs need replacing and the cleaning fee is extremely high considering some basic cleaning jobs seem to have been overlooked.
