Positive: The location of MONDI in Grundlsee is very convenient - we took a day trip to Hallstatt which was just 30 minutes drive, and another day we drove the panoramic route to Loser Altaussee. The MONDI resort staff were very welcoming and friendly - my husband and I are American and English speaking and the staff was always quick to accommodate with a smile. We enjoyed the spa / wellness area each day during our stay - while the steam bath was out of service, we still were able to use the 3 other saunas and the pool. The food was exceptional as well - from breakfast to dinner, we left satisfied and pleased with each meal. They offer a seasonal venison menu and we loved trying new things we don't normally get to eat! The chalets themselves are so charming - our studio had a mini kitchen, supplied with utensils, dishes, and cookware, and a good size refrigerator. The heated floor in the bathroom was awesome, too! Can't say enough great things about our stay.

Negative: The spa opens at 1:00pm each day, with the exception of a couple of ladies only mornings that begin at 10am-1pm. We would have liked to have had the chance to go to the spa for a sauna in the morning and then have a second session in the afternoon or evening.

Summary: Fantastic stay - wonderful staff, great food, convenient & beautiful location.

Positive: Amazing place and amazing location. Very nice view from the resort, we was with small childrens and there is very nice play room for them. The breakfast is amazing and deliver every morning to the chalet. The restaurant was very good and kids friendly and the waiter was very very nice. In the chalet was hut tab outside and sauna . We love this place very much
