Positive: Beautiful place in an idyllic setting with the most welcoming staff. We found our stay completely relaxing with the bookable sauna, private hot tub and places to relax and enjoy the Mountain View’s. Everything was wonderful and we can’t wait to come back one day!

Positive: Very friendly and client focused hosts. Out in the nature place, with no other noises than from birds and wind. Hot pot or sauna are so nice at the end of an active day. Nice hike opportunities nearby.

Negative: The shower in room no. 1 is a bit small (especially in comparison to the total room size).

Summary: Very exceptional place! Would return there any time again!

Positive: I enjoyed a spacious suite with a hot tub on the terrace and a lively little cat, Piggy, who insisted on joining me for breakfast! Drinks and food are all delivered by attentive and charming staff. This a perfect, peaceful base for anyone walking the gorges and who is content to be away from busy and somewhat banal little Sougia.

Negative: Cats! We tried to eat on our terrace the first night, but very soon there were SIX cats trying to eat our food.

Positive: Quiet place, beautifully located in a small village in the countryside. Good place to relax but also as a base for discovering southwest Crete. Georgia and her staff are wonderful hosts. 2 min walk to authentic tavern with good food and great view of the valley.

Negative: There was nothing we didn't like! However, visitors should be aware that the parking lot is not spacious. There is room for all cars, though. Please also keep in mind that it takes approx 2 h to drive from Chania airport on small curvy roads.
