Monash Cottage built in the 50's by Monash University as a field station to accommodate their Scientists out in the field. The Cottage has been faithfully restored and offers visiting guests a bit of local history into the cottages past.
The Cottage is Pet Friendly and now offers all the creature comforts you expect and is located on the grounds of Coragulac House an historically significant mansion built in 1873, the cottage is adjacent to the original coach house and stables with fabulous views of the surrounding area.

Summary: Wonderful hosts in a little slice of Victorian history. The cattle owner's mansion juxtaposed against the Monash House designed for academics studying the lakes around Coragulac was quite special.

Summary: We stayed on the worst day of weather ever. Shocking winds and rain. Still enjoyed so imagine on a glorious day. It is not the Hilton but nor rustic. It is good honest comfortable accomodation with full cooking facilities. Would definitely stay again
