This beautiful recently built house has panoramic views of Tauranga Bay, a popular swimming and surf beach on New Zealand's West Coast. The beach is a 2-minute walk from the house. Two double bedrooms downstairs each have their own bathroom. A large open-plan living area with kitchen and living room opens up on both sides to spacious decks for sitting out and taking in the view and surroundings. Tui and woodpigeons are frequent visitors to the pohutakawa trees behind the house. Upstairs a mezzanine floor provides the perfect spot for viewing the bay from a comfortable bean-bag. This loft also provides extra sleeping with two queen mattresses available if required. This is the perfect spot to get away and relax, with nearby cycle trails, a clifftop walking track to a historic lighthouse, the Cape Foulwind seal colony plus a safe swimming and surfing beach. Westport is only a convenient ten-minute drive away.

Summary: Very clean and efficient layout with thoughtful design of the kitchen and living areas. Bedrooms and bathrooms were nice. Enjoyed shorts walks to the beach to watch sunrises and sunsets and easy access to the Cape Foulwind Walkway to watch the seal pups play. Will definitely return with family and friends.

Summary: What a beautiful place ! It was beyond our expectations. The views were spectacular and the tip for the local restaurant was greatly appreciated. The Beach was close as well as other attractions . All around a wonderful getaway.

Summary: This is a spectacular property overlooking the beach south of the Cape Foulwind Walkway. The views were stunning, and it's a short drive or easy walk to the southern end of the walkway and the seal colony. The place was spotless and filled with light. There was a huge deck for lounging and wekas in the yard provided entertainment. The two queen bedrooms are on opposite sides of the house creating privacy for two couples. The central living area has plenty of space for watching TV from the couches or bean bag chairs. The kitchen was well-equipped for eating in. We felt very refreshed after four nights here.
