Summary: My family stayed at this property for two nights while we were in the area to visit Tallgrass Prairie Preserve. It was a wonderfully convenient location, and the suite was very comfortable for our family of three. She put a lot of thought into what guests might need by providing some bathroom necessities, children's books, coffee pods, and oatmeal packets. While my kid is too old for a pack and play, as a parent I always appreciate a host that puts that much thought into what guests might need. She also provided timely communication about the check in and check out procedures, which were clear and easy to follow. Additionally, Lindsey did an excellent job rehabbing this historic property. I especially appreciate how she incorporated historic photographs and architectural salvage from the building into its decor. As for nearby amenities- The suite is located across the street from my new favorite place- Flint Hills Books- and within a short walking distance of Hays House, Watts Coffee, and Riverbank Brewing. My kid highly recommends the nearby playground located beside the Neosho Riverwalk.

Summary: Fantastic rental! We loved the upstairs view of downtown Council Grove. Unit was beautiful, comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully outfitted. We appreciated ceiling fans in the bedrooms and the AC worked well. Great location too. You can walk to many things in town and the rail trail is only a few blocks away. By car I’d recommend the tall grass prairie preserve. Lindsey was easy to communicate with and very accommodating. A wonderful host! We will certainly be returning!

Summary: The Crawford place is amazing! It is located above the sweetest boutique in a historic downtown building. The place is immaculate! Beds were comfy. It was the perfect place for a group of friends to get away from city life and refill.We frequented The Hays House, a historic restaurant formerly owned by Daniel Boone’s relative (& where I had the absolute best mashed potatoes!), the bookstore (where I had a lively interaction with the owner), and another little shop that served coffee, lunch, and amazing baked goods.I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a sweet place to rest and refill!
