This exquisite, fully remodeled four-bedroom home is regally perched as close to the edge of the ocean as a house in Hawaii can be. Featuring a private staircase with 11 steps leading directly to the water’s edge, this is beachfront living at its finest. With sweeping Pacific views from almost every room in the home, come experience the serenity of this private vacation retreat on one of the most hidden stretches of coast in Kauai. Aliomanu Bay is conveniently located between Kapaa & Kilauea, making this property an excellent jump off point to explore.
Painstakingly remodeled in 2019, this open-concept modern home has a feeling of splendor from the moment you step inside. Gorgeous bay windows & double sliding-glass doors truly achieve the sense of indoor/outdoor living. There is a wonderful chef’s kitchen with upgraded appliances, beautiful marbled countertops, & all the necessities to make wonderful meals in the comfort of your vacation home. The entertainment area flows from the kitchen & features comfortable, modern furniture, a beautiful wood coffee table, and a flat screen TV for late night movies and lounging. There is also a wonderful indoor dining area that effortlessly captures the home’s breathtaking views.
Just off the main dining area, step through another set of sliding-glass doors to a private covered lanai that features a BBQ area & plenty of room to lounge. Enjoy outdoor, oceanfront dining or sip cocktails before sunset while watching the beach-walkers stroll by.
There are four bedrooms & three bathrooms inside the home. The spacious upstairs master suites features a queen-sized bed offering a refreshing night's rest. There is also a private lanai where you can enjoy your morning coffee while taking in the view. The en-suite bathroom features a double vanity & walk-in shower. The second upstairs bedroom has king-sized bed & the third bedroom includes two King size beds and share a full-sized bathroom showcasing the home’s beautiful remodel. The fourth bedroom is located downstairs and has a queen-sized bed and garden view. All the bedrooms have A/C for those extra warm late summer day & all rooms equipped with new flat screen TV's, superfast internet/TV with Netflix is included. A new natural stone outdoor tub has recently been added!
There is an additional small living area upstairs that features a lovely reading nook or a work away from home station with ocean views and a foosball table for the gamers in the house.
Aliomanu Bay is tucked away on the east side of the island & is the perfect place to slow down and leave your worries behind. It’s an ideal stretch of sand for shell-seekers & beach walkers plus a great place to swim, in the summer, when the water is exceptionally calm, there is potential for great snorkeling as the bay has some beautiful reef to explore. (Aliomanu Bay is not lifeguarded – please exercise extreme caution – “when in doubt, don’t go out” is a common mantra in the islands.) **Depending on the tides there may or may not be a sandy beach, but can always walk to the sand - fins, snorkel gear, masks are found within the home.
Aliomanu Bay is located less than 20 minutes to the north shore, 10 minutes from Kapaa & 35 minutes to Poipu making it an ideal central location to explore the entire island. Kalalea Juice, Sleeping Giant trailhead, Larsen’s beach and the nationally-recognized Kapaa bike path are just a few attractions close by. Summary: We had an amazing time at the Bond House. It was just what we expected, and what we wanted. The pictures online are accurate to the real experience of the house. I highly recommend waking up early and watching the sun rise over the water.

Summary: We had stayed here with our sons a few times, beginning before the nice remodel and a name change. We've also stayed at several other properties over the years. This had the best stock of supplies and amenities. Access to Kapa'a for groceries is great if you like to have snacks around and like to make meals yourself once in a while. There are also decent restaurants available. We had a plumbing issue which was addressed almost instantly. It's nice to know that property management professional and competent.

Summary: The property was exactly as promised. Ocean views from every room, porch and decks with views of the ocean, 12 steps down to the beach with the ability to take long walks. We watched humpback whales breech every morning and evening from the backyard porch. There was ample snorkeling gear and beach chairs and towels for trips to Hanalei and Poipu. There were games and the downstairs had plenty of room for all 8 of us to sit and talk. I would definitely stay here again.

Summary: This is an amazing property! We are a family of 6 adults and there was plenty of room for all of us to do whatever we felt like - chill on the lanai, lay out in the sun or splash around snorkeling in the water - it has it all! Kitchen is beautiful, well stocked with anything you need to cook in. It also is close to many must-see places on the island. Don't pass this up if you have the chance!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the perfect house for our family trip! The house is spacious so we all had our own room with nice bedrooms. The kitchen, dining & living room is perfect for hanging out & cooking together. Our favorite part of the house was the outdoor space – great private-like beach and nice furniture. We spent the mornings outside watching the sunrise, having coffee & laying on the lounge chairs. The house also had a lot of awesome 'extras' such as beach chairs, a cooler, beach shoes, snorkle equipment, boogie boards, a surf board & wagons. The road to get to this house is closed during the week from 8a - 3p, and although it was a slight inconvenience, we made it work. I wouldn't see this as a big negative unless you have an elderly person or someone who cannot walk a bit. The positives largely outweigh this road closure. It was in a somewhat secluded area, nice features & a friendly neighborhood. I would rent this house again in a heartbeat!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We couldn't have asked for a better experience. The home is lovely and well appointed. Everything we needed was available and there was even some nice welcome snacks. Every morning we watched the sunrise from the deck chairs and would open the lanai doors to let the air in. The beach was low due to winter season, but it was still reasonably easy to reach the sand and walk along the beach. Several of us snorkeled in the small bay and enjoyed it immensely. When leaving the house, we seemed to be 20 minutes from everything, aside from a few locations on the south and west, it was extremely easy to get around, and the small one lane section of road to reach the house was not a hindrance and we almost never even saw another vehicle there.
