Negative: I had to wait 1 and a half hour to get into the room after my journey, so I lost a day I had to cancel my plans.

Summary: I'm not happy as I was to meet up with friends at 4:30 on the day of arrival but I couldn't because of a 75£

Positive: This is a normal residential house which has been converted with 5 rooms for sleeping and presumably 4 of the 5 have ensuite bathrooms. The kitchen dining area is large and spacious The place was very clean and decor and maintenance was generally to a very high standard. The bed was comfortable and generally I slept well. Would we stay here again??? Possibly but not in room 2

Negative: I dislike having to be rather negative in this section because the owner has clearly invested a lot of money in trying to make the property attractive and his price was very reasonable however for this particular room (No.2) there are a number of negatives. The bed was right up against the wall so if my wife needed to be up in the night then I had to get out of bed so that she could get out of bed. A significant amount of space was taken up in the room with a wardrobe which contained NO coathangers and was therefore of little use to us. The (separate) bathroom is so small as to be almost unusable. There was a shower cubicle but we couldn't use it because there was no bathmat, and only one face cloth and one hand towel...between two of us. There is a very small wash basin which was barely adequate for washing and drainage was very slow. There appears to be no staff at this place and the second night we were woken at about 2 am by the sound of a woman's voice (drunk/high?) reciting nursery rhymes and crying/singing... possiby to her dog which, although it didn't bark loudly, was sufficiently audible to know that there was a dog in the room.

Positive: Clean, convenient, well presented and well priced.

Negative: A minor issue with blinds rattling in the wind. Unlikely to happen in winter with windows closed. Only reason for not getting a max score
