Positive: comfortable beds, and chairs. clean and pleasant décor, variety of rooms so family could spread out a bit. carpets in many rooms, as against some holiday homes, as wooden floors hurt my arthritic feet! thoughtful provision of emergency hot drinks, condiment sauces, washing tablets etc which really make the difference. lovely conservatory and garden to sit in too. really relaxing place to stay.

Negative: it was tricky to find it so the number displayed nearer the road would help. its also not very easy to get on and off the drive into the road, but not a huge issue. there was only 1 socket in the dining room which is the most logical one for using computers etc in. but an extension lead was found. the door code was delayed in arriving but the host was really responsive about it and beyond.

Summary: lovely well appointed home for a comfortable stay.

Negative: Would be nice if kitchen was stocked with basic spices, however it is not a deal breaker especially since the host is up front about it.

Positive: The host Ingrid was easily contactable and nothing was too much trouble for her. The slight problem we experienced with turning the oven on was instantly resolved after I'd called Ingrid and was a simple user error! She even rang to ask for permission to enter the house to check out the oven whilst our two employees who were staying there whilst working in the area were out at work. We will definitely be staying in this accommodation again. Home from home accommodation!
