Positive: The location is good. A kitchen with limited cooking items was useful. The place was warm and clean. The coffee and hot and cold filtered water was good.
Negative: The check in process was exhausting. If I didn't have a photo of my laptop with the QR code I dont know if we would have been able to enter. Passports were supplied ahead of time, then they wanted photos via a challenging to use iPad at the gate in the open without shelter plus photos of all the guests. I didn't realise how very very small it would be for 4 adults. There are three different accommodations that all access the main lounge and kitchen. The photos do not indicate which of the three is which and they are very different options. The space was about 3x4m with a divide in the middle, traditional roll out beds. This was ok but it was the entire private space with next to no storage. I didn't greatly dislike it but it was a challenge and if the other places were booked at the same time it would have been very crowded and possibly noisy. The gate is magnetic and you have to push it firmly. It is hinged inwards. The front door has 2 dead locks. The photos are misleading because they picture every accommodation and not just the one you book.
Summary: Convenient location.

Positive: A great spot to stay if one wants to do more than a day trip to Miyajima. Very close to the island's fantastic aquarium and a short walk from the world-famous Itsukashima Shrine and the Ropeway to Mount Misen. The room had traditional Tatami flooring and good amenities in the common kitchen area.
Negative: The online check-in instructions could be a little clearer. (Guests should check in *each member* of their party separately on the website before arrival for maximum convenience.) The rooms are on the small side, so guests should plan accordingly.
Summary: Family Trip to Miyajima

Positive: Nice location, huge room and good shower Easy to find
Negative: Shared house (be prepared if your are unlucky with the other people as we were, they were noisy till 23.30….) but that’s not the locations fault Registration is done on a tablet outside and it was windy so not convenient

Positive: It was easy to find, instructions for check in were very clear and owners responded promptly to any queries. The kitchen had the basic necessities to cook breakfast and the fridge was big. It was bigger than I had expected.
Negative: This is a place that welcomes pets. This is clearly stated. Having said that, despite it being really very clean, there is a smell of dog and cat in the room downstairs. I guess this cannot be avoided. So if you have any kind of dog or cat allergy, this is not the place for you.
Summary: I would go again. Absolutely beautiful.

Negative: Room was too small and only had 2 beds when I requested for 4 beds. 2 people had to sleep on mattresses on the floor
Summary: Nice views but once is enough for me
