Positive: We weren't aware the apartment was a shopfront. What did we like. It was very large and spacious with separate bedroom, kitchen, living area with table and chairs.

Negative: We didn't feel safe. The bathroom in particular glass window in the shower is on the street. The front door is a glass door facing the street. The bedroom has a glass door that is facing the public carpark. When we booked the apartment we weren't aware that the apartment used to be a previous business. We advised the host that we will be arriving between 18:00- 19:00 but we felt the pressure to be more specific. When Raffaela reached out to me on Whats App she said she doesn't speak English and she was from the Myth Apartment. I was weary of who she was as the apartment is not called Myth and secondly she wanted us to pay the funds by bank transfer as she wasn't going to be in the country. The the option provided on Booking.com was to pay upon arrival. Raffaela kept sending me messages wanting to know exactly what time we will be there until I narrowed it down between 18:45 and 19:00. We were in Sardinia coming from the north and we felt pressured to drive faster to be there on time. When we arrived in the street there was no parking and we couldn't find the property. I was dropped off and I was looking for the numbers and couldn't find it. I messaged her and she was walking down the street. She communicated with me by her phone translating and she took me in this shopfront which I was really surprised. It wasn't what we expected. Also the bed was not comfortable and the pillows were very thin.

Positive: Our stay in Cagliari was fantastic. Raffaela, the host, she welcomed us warmly and provided excellent recommendations for drinks, food (and the best ice cream), transport connections, and daily trips. The apartment was exactly as shown in the pictures. Although it's a bit far from the beach, the convenient bus connections made it easy to explore different places. Additionally, the local breakfast spot served one of the best coffees we've ever had. Overall, thanks to Raffaela's hospitality and the wonderful experience, I highly recommend this apartment for an enjoyable stay in Cagliari.
