Summary: We elected to stay at the Twin Turret Farm and Castle for a quick Spring Break trip with the entire family - 15 of us, ranging in age from 4 to 68. From the minute we arrived, the trip was perfect. There truly was something for everyone - hiking, fishing, kayaking, a sand area for the kids to play, and numerous outdoor spaces to sit and relax.And inside was just as incredible. The kids felt like royalty at the "king & queen" table. The pool table, indoor pool, and darts provided lots of late night entertainment. There was so much space to spread out which made the stay that much more enjoyable. The bedrooms were all well furnished and beds were comfortable. It felt like the host had thought of everything - plenty of towels, kitchenwares of every sort, life jackets, sand toys, games, etc. Anything we needed was available to us. We were aware going in, but we were a bit far from civilization, so be sure to bring any food and drinks with you as a trip to town will take an hour minimum. Again, no issue, just something to be aware of. Additionally, there are steps galore inside the house. This is clearly stated in the listing, but is of note.Overall, we had the best time and are already coming up with excuses to go back. The pictures seriously under sell the vastness of the property (both inside and out) and the amenities provided. The newly added deck was a wonderful surprise! Looking forward to a future stay.

Summary: My family of 14 people needed a place for all of us to stay for the holidays. The twin turrets was a great fit for what we needed. Everyone had their own bed, the bathrooms took a little time to get showers scheduled, since there are only 2 showers, but it worked out. The home was fun to explore inside and out. We went for some walks on the trails, enjoyed watching the ducks and geese, or just looking out at the lake. So peaceful!

Summary: Our group stayed here after a larger family reunion at Trout Lodge, YMCA. The place was great with something to do for everyone. Having a private, CLEAN pool for the family is amazing. We hiked around and boated around the lake, made s’mores by a campfire, played pool and darts and board games and grilled meals. This house lets you do it all and has the space to visit family and also have alone time. I’d love to come back.

Summary: We just celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary and I wanted to share the occasion with our children and their families. I especially wanted to stay somewhere that offered a variety of things to do for various age groups.This property did NOT disappoint!Everyone had a GREAT time; from the indoor pool to the paddle boat, to the fishing and the trails around the property, you name it, we enjoyed it!The “great room” is like something out of a medieval fairy tale…everyone was drawn to this room time and again and the view looking out at the lake was phenomenal.The kitchen is well stocked with assorted spices, two refrigerators, numerous pots, pans, coffee pots, etc. The bedrooms are comfortable; everything is clean and inviting. Our grandchildren loved the upstairs “tree house” bedrooms.There are peacocks and quail to observe, with guineas and ducks freely roaming on the property. There are wineries within six to ten miles to visit, if desired. Honestly though, you have everything you need here…the view…the privacy…the serenity…We will be back and we definitely won’t wait fifty more years to do so!
