Summary: The location is superb. Very close to main train station. Restaurants and shops are steps away from the hotel. Staff are helpful. The hotel needs a little renovation. The suite door is hard to open. The hallway is a bit smelly and A/C is not working properly. I booked this hotel as it offers breakfast but I didn’t know that breakfast starts at 8am, we left the hotel in empty stomach as we need to catch the train. Breakfast should start at 6 am as many tourists leave early.

Summary: Enjoy my stay in the single room. They cleaned everyday and the condition of the space was great. The shower and bathroom was spacious and had ventilation which made it easy to decondense the room after a warm shower.

Summary: We spent 4 nights here and the location was great, so many shops and restaurants and across the street from the Termini station. It is busy and you can hear street noise into the night, but it didn't disturb our sleep. This is an older hotel and quaint and basic and clean, so served us well as we were out most of the days. We appreciated that the reception desk was staffed 24 hrs. There is also breakfast served between 8-9:30am on level 1 at a small dining salon. The evening desk staff was younger and friendlier and helpful, maybe because they spoke better English, but we found the older staff more abrupt and almost rude when we checked in early and leaving our bags locked up. It seemed like we got mixed messages that we could open our suitcase at the hallway where all the bags were stored so we could lighten the backpacks we'd be carrying and then being barked at to move and were blocking the hallway. At the breakfast, there is an older woman who serves coffee and a continental breakfast, and she also barked at us for walking into the room next to the dining area as we thought that was where we picked up our pastry and drink, but is apparently her kitchen. It would have been helpful to have some signs posted if there was a protoccol or on the door to say if it was a kitchen, as it does not obviously look like one. We learned to just go and sit and wait for her to come to us and not rock the boat. Otherwise, no other complaints of the Mirage.

Summary: We liked our stay here for the convenience to the main Rome train station and to the hop on hop off buses. All within 5 minutes walk. Room had bed and tv and wardrobe and a mini fridge. Air conditioning if required. Breakfast was ok. A really nice croissant and some toast, cereal and yogurt and fresh coffee and orange juice. The only issue we had was no free luggage storage for hotel guests. It was chargeable. 7 euros for each item. I was even charged 7 euros for my coat which we had to put in a bag. They had a vending machine and a drinks fridge. Drink prices were reasonable. We liked the hotel overall as it was reasonable priced and easy to find. Only issue we had was one of the reception staff was miserable. The day man. But the two young men were funny and helpful. Was disappointed we had to pay 28 euros to store our luggage there for the day. One suitcase two bags and my coat.

Summary: We had a great stay at Hotel Mirage while visiting Rome and a few other places while in Italy. We stayed at the hotel for 9 nights. The staff was great, Anthony, Daniel, and Robert were all very accommodating and a great help during our time at the hotel, and we enjoyed seeing them each day. Breakfast is a continental breakfast; rooms are clean and functional, and staff cleans them each day. The hotel is older however it is kept well. If you are looking for a place to use as a base while in Rome I recommend staying at Hotel Mirage.
