Positive: We enjoyed our stay at Miner’s Rest. We felt welcomed ever since we stepped in; a home away from home. The house was clean and equipped with everything one needs for a comfortable stay. Great location with loads of destinations to visit in Cornwall, just within half an hour or an hour drive.

Positive: We had a lovely stay the cottage is very deceiving on pics it is so spacious and has everything you need including hair dryers, maiden, ironing board, beach towels, coffee machine, fire stick in the dining area, radio. The scones, jam, cream and milk were a lovely welcoming gift and the couch and beds were very comfortable. The roll top bath was luxurious and the area is quiet as long as you close the windows as the shop over the road can be busy and there is a cockerel near bye. We didn't get any phone signal with o2 but the WiFi is great it didn't reach into the garden though. We had an amazing takeaway from the curry king delivered from Camborne the menu is in the welcome file. Also the Beacon in is a must visit 😊

Negative: The only points to mention are that as we don't have dogs the odour of dogs was quite strong in the living area and kitchen/ diner. The beach towels and the throws also had a dog odour but once washed these were fine. I got locked in the bathroom but I will mention this to the owner as the lock is temperamental so just be aware, and the windows were also quite dirty but this could be due to the road being busy. Overall we would recommend to friends who have dogs.

Positive: Absolutely stunning cottage which has been finished to a high standard. Lovely touches around the whole place and lots of thought and consideration and attention to detail. Excellent pre arrival detail and nice touch with the cream tea and flowers

Negative: The double bed was very hard - we added a mattress topper (that we provided) and then it was comfortable There is no allocated parking so often had to park a few streets away - only a minor thing though and the cottage itself more than made up for it

Summary: Absolutely gorgeous accommodation will definitely return
