Villa Miléia is located in the southern part of Tinos, at Isternia Bay, between the villages of Kardiani and Pyrgos, right below Isternia mountain village just at sea level of the Aegean Sea. The main town of Tinos is 21 km away and among others features the magnificent and world renowned Panagia Megalochari Greek orthodox church. You can rent a car or a bike, otherwise, there are frequent bus stops all along the route and at Isternia village. Of course, there is always a taxi service available.
Tinos is the third port in passenger traffic in Greece with regular service from two ports in the Attica region. From the Port of Piraeus you reach Tinos in 4.5 hrs by conventional ferry and in 3 hrs by speedboat. From Rafina Port it takes 3.5 hrs with a conventional ferry and 1.5 hrs with a speedboat. We personally suggest departing from Rafina port, not only due to less actual traveling time on sea, but also due to the fact that Rafina port is always less busy from the main hub at Piraeus port.
Even though the island does not have an airport currently, there are frequent ferry connections from Mykonos – that hosts an international airport (30 min trip to Tinos), should you want to combine a quick visit to Mykonos, or if you are not the biggest fan of traveling at sea. There are plans for the launch of a water airport in Tinos and dedicated sea planes from Athens to the island.

Summary: The property exceeded our expectations in every way. The Villa had so many areas where we could congregate or disappear with a book. Our host. Aris, was amazing - nothing was too much trouble. Miss Effie came in every day to service the villa and we arranged to have three evening meals by Miss Effie - fantastic food!

Summary: Great stay with a beautifull villa by the beach. Aris was very helpfull with all aspects of our stay. We also booked the cook Miss Effie and it was really worth it. We had a great stay and family time. Just one surprise when we got the villa : 3 rooms are almost "blind" with no view at the beach and just a window facing a back coridor in the house.

Summary: Absolutely incredible location. Incredible view, host, property, and the entire experience! The local village was also amazing. We did some great hikes and also hired Alexander from Tinos Farm to Table for many meals at the property. This was for my wives 40th birthday and we brought along 12 friends. They are all still raving about the property and the trip! Highly Highly recommended!

Summary: Highly recommend Miléia Villa. Stayed at this Villa for family trip. Ample space for our family with 12 people of various ages. From check in to check out, Aris was amazing. The Villa is well maintained. If issues came up, Aris was prompt in his response and addressing the issue. Appreciated the pre-stocked fridge on our arrival which was courtesy welcome gift until we were able to stock it. The welcome dinner we coordinated with Aris was well worth it. We had the local goat dish with potatoes and stuffed peppers with local cheese that Ms Effie cooked so perfectly! The house is well situated up on the hill of Isternia bay with great view of the sea as ferries/boats pass from afar, and the view of the beach below. Great place to sit on the porch with the outdoor dining table setup for morning coffee with the sound of the wind whistling and having family dinner with the amazing sunset view. Definitely would come back to this place!

Summary: This property was beyond amazing! We were a group of ten ranging in ages from 19 - 80 years old and this was the perfect spot. The house is stunning with amazing views from every level. The bedrooms were roomy and very comfortable, with two full indoor kitchens and a wonderful outdoor kitchen that was great for meals, an enormous downstairs was perfect for our young adult crew while the main level and upstairs was comfy and quiet for the rest of us. The finishes in the house were high end and the personal touches, and decorations throughout the house made it seem more than just a rental. The pool and pool deck was amazing with a view of the bay and you can watch the goats trek up and down the mountainside (no worries, the property is fenced so no unexpected visitors 😊). Aris was the most accommodating and helpful host. He met us at the port, helped us through the rental car process, traveled with us to the house, and provided some simple groceries, snacks, and wine upon arrival. In addition, he helped us locate grocery stores, villages to explore, got us dinner reservations, and even got us a doctor's appointment in town when one member of our group was not feeling well. The pool and the house were maintained daily (by the very nice Mrs. Effie (sp?)) which was an added bonus. I highly recommend this property. We are sure to visit Tinos and this property in the future! Thanks Aris!!

Summary: The villa is spectacular. The photos, whilst beautiful, do not do it justice, the high end finish, the size, the balconies. It was truly wonderful. There are 3 fabulous restaurants just a 5-10 minute walk away. Our group was both adults and late teenagers and no one ever got bored and the villa is big enough for different age groups to have their own space and time when needed. Aris could not have been more helpful in each and every request. 10 out of 10 all round. We will be back.

Summary: We were a party of 9, 4 teenage boys, and 5 adults. The space was more than enough for all of us to have our own space. We could have had a party twice that size and been very comfortable. From the very beginning Aris was very responsive and helpful with our pre-trip planning. He arranged our rental cars on Tinos and offered to arrange a lot of other things that we ultimately decided to pass on. Once we were on island, he was helpful to us each day with making dining recommendations and reservations for us. He was so warm and thoughtful. It was as if we were talking to an old friend. We got in late'ish on the first evening. Aris took it on himself to do some basic grocery shopping for us (including wine) to tide us over till we made it to the market the next day. With what he bought, and the herbs from the house's garden, we made a really nice meal for ourselves while everyone swam and enjoyed the beautiful sunset. That was so thoughtful of him and was really above and beyond. The house itself is beautifully built. The craftsmanship of the building and the grounds is impeccable. And the indoor and outdoor kitchens are very well outfitted. I cooked many of our meals each day at the house. The knives were sharp and the kitchen equipment is a good quality. They really thought of everything - good wifi, nice bluetooth portable outdoor speakers, candles, nice linens, good toiletries, very clean pool. Everything was new and top notch. The island of Tinos was a dream come true. We explored every day but could have used another month to cover all the things we wanted to. Each day we discovered new cliffs to dive off of, caves to explore, villages to visit, and beaches to wander down. If you are into exploring on foot, I highly recommend getting the really nice, laminated footpath map. You can order it ahead of time on Amazon. Or the Tavern owner at the base of the hill by the house was nice enough to let us borrow his copy. That helped us find our way and had great info on the difficulty of each trail.
