Positive: The hotel is in excellent location. There are shops and restaurant around. Breakfast, there are not various choices. They have will 2 options to choose between Veg fried rice and wonton, fruit, Chinese dessert, tea, coffee, and milk. The staff and the owner are very nice and helpful.

Positive: The boss, lady boss, and staff are very helpful and polite in every way. They had guided us in places to visit and were very sincere in ensuring that our stay was a very pleasant one. A lot of eateries and places to walk around in the vicinity.

Negative: Rooms are at 2nd floor, a little inconvenient for the elderlys

Positive: The Hotel ist located in a lively, beautiful old part of Tunxi. The building is very beautiful too, lots of wood, tranquil and pleasant! Rooms/bathrooms perfectly clean. But the best were our hosts: Welcoming, caring and attentive. Without their detailed explanations about the visit to the Huangshan Mountains we would have been lost at the entrance. Thank you so much, we really enjoyed our stay!

Positive: We really loved this hotel and wish we'd have been able to stay for more than one night. The reception area and our room were both really nicely decorated. Our room was very comfortable. But most of all, our host Jason was incredibly helpful re what to do in Huangshan City and how to go walking on the Yellow Mountain (which is about an hour north of the hotel). Jason also organised an excellent tour of some of the ancient villages

Positive: The breakfast was really good, with a wide selection of local dishes and some "western" alternatives. Good coffee and the best tea we had during our entire stay in China. Tea was also offered in our room and in the sitting room area at all times. We appreciated it a lot! We loved the hosts and their cats. Our activities went so smoothly, much because the host had a taxi driver friend who was always available for us, it seemed. We got picked up at the train station, and driven there when leaving. We had transport to Xidi with him (and he waited for us until we wanted to return!), and when we were going to the Yellow mountain for our hike the next day, it took care of everything. Thank you so much! Walking around town, we found many gems, like the special store for paint brushes! Beware that the restaurants close quite early. The first night, we were too late, but we found one place open, serving a soup, which was fabulous!

Negative: Nothing negative, really. This was a perfect place.

Summary: We would love to go back to this wonderful place!
