Positive: The lodge felt like a home from home and had everything we needed to have a very comfortable stay. The host Michael was great, checking in with me a couple of days before to explain all the details we would need for a easy check in and comfortable stay. We will definitely be back.

Positive: We had a wonderful stay at Michael’s lodge and enjoyed every moment of it. Michael welcomed us upon arrival and shared lots of helpful information about the lodge, the park, and nearby attractions. The lodge was spotless, much more spacious than we expected, and perfectly suited for a family getaway. The holiday park itself has a lovely playground that our kids absolutely loved. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

Positive: I loved the lodge it was so spacious, so homey, everything you needed by kitchen utensils wise, comfy beds, super cosy duvets and pillows, bonus the beds was made upon arrival, fell in love with the wardrobe space in both bedrooms, plenty of storage, great bath and shower. was a beautiful lodge. And super clean.
Negative: Can't fault it, apart from the dimmer lightbulb in twin singles bedroom maybe just my preference. Prefer brighter light

Positive: clean comfortable and spacious, had everything you could need. Good clear instructions from owner re check in, using heating etc and were offered an earlier check in than the 3pm without us needing to ask . Close to amenities, club house etc, and also supermarket and eating places. They were only a couple of minutes walk as was a lovely little country park, literally just across the road. Few minutes into Clacton itself b8car, and bus stops directly outside entrance to site.
Negative: only negative was position on the site. we had a very warm week and used the verandah a lot. All traffic goes past, very close to the verandah. Didn't bother us when inside, and wouldn't stop us booking again as every thing else was so nice
