Positive: Bathroom

Negative: We were not in the room we booked in fact we were sent to a different address. Our room was on the ground floor next to the kitchen which was used by other residents, our room did not have a fire door between us and the kitchen area, there was a door from our room to get outside but this was locked. The room was very dark with bad lighting which was quite depressing, white bedding would help as the sheets were brown. Our booking with booking.com said a garden view, it was of a fence and next door windows. You are also asked to remove your outdoor shoes, I think this needs sharing before you arrive luckily we wore socks but had we not we would have had to walk bare foot.

Positive: Location is nice and quiet and the room and washroom were clean.

Negative: First they ask you for a deposit of cad$200 which came as a surprise, the host told me "that's how it works in Canada", well it's not my first stay in Canada but that was a first especially considering it is like an Airbnb. I didn't find the host to be very nice and willing to help me about my stay in the city but that's my personal experience. One of the days I needed to take a hot shower and there was no hot water so I called the host which tried to mansplain me how to turn the faucet like I was not able to understand how to use hot water, turns out they only have limited hot water so be careful because if somebody is using the washing machine (2$) or there are guest using the shower you might not have enough hot water left.

Summary: Too expensive for what it offers
