Summary: I really enjoyed it - the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was our last three nights of our vacation so just hanging out suited us and it is just about an hours drive to the Windhoek airport. I don't think I would include it as part of your Namibian vacation experience - expensive compared to other places, quite run down, and not much to do in the area. They offer game drives but the guide knew about as much as we did. It is a beautiful location.

Summary: Drive there is quite a challenge, dusty and long, but well worth it with a warm face cloth and a cool drink that awaits you on your arrival. Beautiful estate with a lot of history. Need some upgrading in certain areas eg. the recreational room but they are currently busy with renovations. The dinner hall was spectacular and so was the buffet dinner and breakfast. Rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff very friendly and helpful.
