Negative: The shower was a little bit temperamental, going hot and cold and the pressure wasn't the best.

Positive: I booked a cabin during a windy weekend. When I called the office to let them know we'd be coming later than expected, they informed us that they had upgraded us to the cottage since the cabin was getting a little rickety from the strong winds. It was so nice for them to think of doing that for us. The cottage was perfect for my daughter and I. Since we got in late, it was nice having a well stocked kitchen. It was very clean. We had heat, although we couldn't figure out how to work the fireplace. The bed was firm and comfortable. In the morning, we went to the cafe for breakfast. Everyone was super nice and service was great. The cafe got packed after 10am.

Negative: One of the reasons why we booked here was to use the pool, which we later found out was closed due to fixtures. They offered us discounted manicures at the spa to make up for it, but we didn't take it. I would just make sure to find out if the pool is open before booking next time. It's just a matter of personal comfort, but the pillows were too big for me to sleep on. I will definitely come back but with my own pillow.

Negative: Whilst the cottage was very clean. The pool could do with a little more attention.

Positive: I really enjoyed my holiday here. The environment is very beautiful. The staff is friendly and helpful and will solve my problem quickly. The house is fully equipped, tidy and clean. The location is very convenient for going to town and attractions. The food in the restaurant was very good. I highly recommend everyone to come here for vacation.

Negative: The fact that I brought my own cafeteria, and there was already one in Cider Cottage. 😂

Positive: Was perfect for me and the kids - a much needed couple of days away, and close enough to walk to the Tor or nip into town for supplies (on site farm shop great but limited). Swimming pool was a real bonus, and had itpretty much to ourselves. Had all we needed, and staff were easily findable for any queries we had.

Negative: Wanted to stay longer!
