Positive: Very friendly staff. Really nice swimming pool!

Negative: The system to rebook the rooms in case you have multiple bookings is not existing. That could be something to improve. But overall the property is really nice

Positive: Bright, clean comfortable apartments, very helpful friendly staff. Good value for money

Negative: Location not the best. A little tucked away ( although they are nice and quiet), but only a 10 minute stroll to beach and good tavernas, and about 30 minutes into the centre of Kos town, so not so bad really

Positive: These are wonderful self containing units. They are very secure and have black out curtain and amazing cooling systems making for a very comfortable sleep. The accommodating pool, pool table, area for snacks and light meals was wonderful. The club house washrooms had everything you might need. Sun tan cream, hand creams, bug spray, aloe you name it, it was there. A lovely convenience. We love cats and there were a few around that the owner loves and cares for. The owner was very kind and helpful as was the staff. We really enjoyed our time there.

Negative: I didn't like having to be telephone called and having to actually meet up to receive the keys, especially since we had to wait so long in center town to get a taxi out (we would recommend pre planning your ride to the apartments as the public taxi area gets very busy with the ferry arrivals) We also didn't like that the clubhouse and pool swimming area closed by 7pm. We found this to be quite early and rather incovenenient.

Summary: There are convenience stores, coffee shops , restaurants and beach in walking distance

Positive: Everything was amazing! It is not the first time I come here and I will keep coming back The staff is amazing, the rooms clean and you have everything you need for a pleasant stay :) Really one of the best places you can find in Kos

Positive: When booking a budget priced accomodation, your expectations should be realistic. With Michalis Studios you get what you've paid for and more. Firstly the staff are extremely friendly, and are always on hand. The pool area is quiet and well maintained, with a pool bar providing drinks at good prices and freshly cooked snack food. Middle of August and never more than a couple of other people using beds and pool, surprising but very pleasing. Location is a walk....a good walk, into Kos Town, 35 mins to dolphin roundabout, and we struggled to work out bus pickups, taxis are a no-go, so a lot of walking. Bikes are easily hired within a few minutes if you want. Best nearby beach in our opinion is Theofilos which again is about 20 mins away. Local mini market about 10 mins down the road, well stocked and reasonable prices. Rooms, do the job. Bed, sink, fridge and excellent air conditioning was all we needed. Just don't expect luxury and you'll also feel like your in the 70's..

Negative: Rooms, are typical Greek basic rooms, with bits that need sorting. Tiles on the floor have been repaired badly, toilet doesn't flush properly, and the normal shower curtain attacking you as you shower. Slight road noise, but we were ground floor on the busier of the two roads

Positive: Warm welcome on arrival Pool was nice

Negative: We stayed in a two bedroomed apartment however only one bedroom had a wardrobe and mirror the other did not this was quite awkward with 4 adults . We asked for a spare mirror but we were told they wasn’t one The accommodation was not very clean. The cutlery in the drawer was dirty The fridge was also very dirty but what was most frustrating was that the bin next to the toilet was not emptied ( we stayed 4 nights) during our stay with 4 adults that is a lot of waste and the smell was not very nice The accommodation is up a hill, we timed the walk at 10 mins and we were all walking at a good pace . From the bottom of the hill it’s about a 30 min walk into Kos town. We hired bikes halfway down the hill which meant we could see lambi beach and more
