Positive: This is a brand new modern and clean hotel with spectacular views of the French Alps. The staff were very nice and helpful.

Negative: The road to get to the hotel is narrow and full of sharp curves.

Positive: The property is very easily accessible and close to the ski lifts. Since it is a brand new hotel everything was new and nice. The ski closets are wonderful and the whole facility pleasing and spacious. The pool area is very light with a nice view of the mountains through painted oversized windows. The hot tub, hammam and sauna area are well maintained and very clean. The gym being brand new is also a pleasure to use.

Negative: The lack of food on property and due to the lack of snow a longer walk to the ski lifts. In the room, the black saucers were covered in dust after two days and the saucers never got dusted…

Positive: Very good location in front of bus station and 100 meters from ski slopes and ski rent. All the restaurants are in the big street of Valmorel just a few steps from Akoya. Great fitness and spa center with sauna, hammam, jacuzzi, swimming pool. Friendly and helpful staff. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with nice balcony and view over the mountains with no vis-à-vis. Large bed and good mattress for those who are sensitive to back pains, especially after a ski day. We even had the possibility to check out a bit later than planned to enjoy the end of our stay.

Summary: A perfect place to ski and rest with everything nearby at walking distance (restaurants, ski, shops)

Positive: I am very satisfied with my room - very convenient layout with separate bath and shower. Enough facilities for a mountain hotel. Nice breakfast. Very nice and comfortable ski-room! And perfect location in Valmorel - a minute from all the attractions, bus stop is right in front of the hotel.
