Positive: This is the best property we’ve stayed in this area by far - and we’ve tried a lot! First is the location - it is stunning. The views are exceptional - we saw lots of seals and even a large pod of Rissos dolphins swim past. Second, if you have dogs, the garden is large and completely secure. You can even get down a wee track next to the house to the sea and wander along to Harrow Harbour for more seals. The house itself is large, simple but very well equipped. Thank you, will stay again.

Positive: Warm & comfortable in an excellent location. Friendly hosts - a problem discovered on arrival was dealt with quickly and efficiently.

Negative: We were notified a couple of days before arrival that the washing machine wasn't working - there were laundry services in Thurso we were able to use instead.

Positive: We liked the location, and of course, the view, the layout of the house, a drive for the car, enough outside room for our wee dog, a safety fence at the back, everything in a house that is needed, was there.

Negative: We did not use the washing machine. My partner realised the bearings were gone, the radiator in the en suite was filthy, not getting wiped regularly,I think. The old suite was uncomfortable and just too dirty, the setee beside the fire, we saw 2 spiders, could not catch them, went down the back of the setee, we ended up sitting on the chairs. Big sitting room, small and old TV to watch when winding down from a busy day.

Positive: What a fabulous place with the most breathtaking views I have ever experienced on my holidays! The cottage was spotless and felt new, everything was so well kept and everything had been thought of, such a fabulous, fabulous place.

Negative: The area didn't have much in the way of eateries, we found eating out a real challenge with having 2 small dogs with us, and Thurso wasn't the nicest place we'd been, but the position of the holiday home made up for it.

Positive: Fabulous location right on the edge of the cliffs. Saw the Northern Lights on our first night. Enclosed garden for my dog to run around without having to worry about her. Your neighbour was very nice and pointed out a pod of dolphins that were swimming past the property.

Negative: Nothing really. We had an exceptional week of weather so some outdoor seating/dining would have been good but know that this is probably only needed for 1 week a year! A towel rail and a shelf in the en-suite would have been useful but again not strictly necessary.
