Summary: The place exceeded our expectations. Considering the price was less than many hotels in the area, we were expecting that this might be the kinda place that oversold on the cleanliness and amenities. But it was great! Pictures are accurate. Hot tub was clean and hot. And the putting green was fun, with a putter and three balls provided. Keyless entry was super convenient too. Quiet neighborhood (almost too quiet, LOL). We didn’t have a car but it was only a 20 minute one-way walk to get odds and ends at gas station or pharmacy. Only slightly awkward moment was calling the host for an early checkin. They answered the phone as though I had just called as a random person, rather than answering as someone who regularly gets business related calls. It took a minute of them asking “who is this?” before they grasped that I was calling related to the rental that they were listed as the contact for. Not a big deal, just strange, and just one of the quirks of renting from a management company rather than direct from the owner. And we did get a one hour earlier check in. Overall great experience.
