Positive: The structure is very well located and surrounded by a beautiful green environment.

Negative: In all my life I never found a so unkind host like the old blond lady who seems to be the owner there. On the other side, the 40 years old brown hair lady, instead, was really very helpful, kind and friendly. The hens and the roosters in the breakfast room are hygienically unacceptable. The old blond lady prepared the breakfast on late and, during the preparation, touched all the food with her hands (cheese and ham included). In that moment there were 5 guests who saw the scene. The "sound" of the roosters is everywhere and, obviously, it doesn't help to sleep. A suggestion... Why not to offer a pair of earplugs to the guests for the night? (the price is no more than 20 cents)

Summary: A beautiful place with a great potential, but badly managed at the moment.

Positive: Beautiful location, a spacious room and comfortable bed. Breakfast buffet was good and varied.

Negative: Communication with the hostess proved somewhat challenging. On arrival, there was no one present at reception, and two other guests were already waiting. Unfortunately, the phone number that was provided to ring in case of staff absence, went unanswered. After approximately 15min, the hostess returned the other guest’s call, and informed us that we could let ourselves into our room, as she was out running groceries. While I appreciate that situations might occur that require the hostess to step away, I feel it’s their duty to guarantee reliable reception coverage, and/or responsiveness when running a hotel or B&B.

Positive: Bed was very good and super long. Room was comfortably warm and it seemed like the floor was heated too. It took a little while for the shower to heat up but once it gets warm the shower head was really nice. The surrounding nature is lonely with lots of birds and animals. They keep chickens/hens everywhere which will definitely make sound in the morning.

Negative: I arrived at ± 21:30 (check-in was supposedly possible until 22:00). The was a German accented man around the check-in area that appeared to work there that said Jolanda wasn't there and he walked with me to my room and let me in. It seemed a little weird but it worked out in the end.. Breakfast seemed similarly unorganised, but I managed to eat and drink something. Check-out was similarly disorganised. After I ate and drank something I asked a person that was cleaning, where I could check-out (which I thought could get interesting as I didn't really check in, hence why I asked beforehand) and she said that check-out wasn't necessary. I asked where I put the key and she said to just leave it in the door (in the key hole which is on the outside of the door). This also felt a little weird. Had I known these things up front I might have been able to enjoy the stay a little more and not have to worry about fines.

Positive: Warm, comfortable, very friendly people on the farm, handy for cities. Excellent breakfast, buffet with lots of choice.

Negative: Sort out your satnav in advance, rush hour driving is stressful. Cats and cockerels need warnings for allergies. TV remote and coffee in room were not easy to get results. Curtains didn't quite cover up the morning sun coming in.
