Positive: The hosts are very caring and pleasant people; they helped me with everything. They even gave me an Ayurvedic inhalation when they learned that my ear hurt! There are birds living in their yard and a very sociable Golden Retriever named Buddy. The house is very spacious and modern. The room is clean.

Negative: There was no hot water in my room; the host said it was mentioned in the room description, but I couldn't find that information. Since I was only staying for 2 nights, it wasn't a big issue, though taking a hot shower after the trip would have been nice. The hosts said hot water would be available by my next visit. There was someone else's used loofah and remnants of shower gel in the bathroom.

We celebrated Christmas Eve and Christmas together, and the warmth they shared made this trip incredibly special. They went above and beyond to ensure I was always comfortable and well taken care of. I was fed non-stop with so much love, and Indus bakes the most wonderful cakes. Their kindness, generosity, and genuine care made my stay truly memorable. This wasn’t just accommodation; it was family. I will always be grateful for the love and memories shared here, and I already look forward to coming back.

Positive: The homestay was very nice, I had a lot of space in the room and a private terrace that I could use. The Homestay is in a quiet and lovely area not far with the tuk tuk from mainstreet. I chose the Homestay while I was having an Ayurvedic course in nugegoda and for me was the best place to stay . Really felt like family. The food that Indu prepares is incredibly delicious and made with a lot of dedication and passion. For that I thank you from the bottom of my heart that I always had good food. As a suggestion for improvement, I would be happy about a mosquito net :)

Positive: The hostess and the host are super kind people who try everything that u feel like home. the house is big and beautiful. beside of a great breakfast i orderd twice a meal and the hostess is such a great chef. everything was fresh prepared and deliciouse. closeby there is a supermarket and the area is calm. i would stay here again.
