Positive: This is an amazing venue. We have stayed here many times and absolutely love it. It is a beautiful area and the lodge has everything you could wish for. It is so quiet and peaceful. We never want to leave.

Positive: The flat was spacious, very clean, well equipped and very comfortable for a couple staying. The owner gave us a warm welcome once we had settled in, and there was a welcome pack including milk and bread. What made the property outstanding was the decking terrace accessed from the living room and giving lovely views across a well-tended garden to a lake. There were ducks on the lake which came up the garden and we saw a heron standing on the far side of the lake on each of the days we stayed. It was easy to walk from the property to the River Wyre where there was a small toll bridge. The flat was on the ground floor with access via steps and a well-placed handle made using the steps easier. The parking space was clearly marked and we were invited to use an external plug to charge our electric car if we needed to.

Negative: Nothing, it was all excellent.

Summary: A very comfortable place to stay, with added wildlife.

Positive: The location was amazing, a lake view, ducks and birds ti watch and feed. The garden was well tended and secluded, allowing a peaceful space to relax. The property was exceptional everything you could need and more. Bed was very comfortable, bathroom was very large with jacuzzi bath and large shower. Kitchen was well equipped. The hosts were very welcoming.
