Positive: Good breakfast options. Location was very convenient to Central Train Station - we took the train to Central from the airport, and then walked about 8 minutes through the station and tunnel to the hotel. Room had a desk, armchair and good bathroom.

Negative: Sheets were noisy so the other person was disturbed when shifting position in the bed, and there wasn't enough choice in pillows. If it hadn't been so late when we checked in, we probably would have rung through to Reception for another medium height pillow, but we were coming off a long international flight and just didn't have the energy. The bed was too firm. Personally, I would pay extra for an additional pillow top for a softer bed option.

Positive: Location was good, room was clean and bed was comfortable.

Negative: Despite being told twice that we were staying there for a birthday, no one even said "Happy Birthday". When my partner called and asked if they could simply leave a printed note in the room that said happy birthday as a nice surprise, they were told by S at front desk "No we don't do that kind of thing here". S then checked us in, was told it was my birthday, and didn't say a word about it. I know it's not a big thing, but didn't make me feel like a valued guest considering how much we paid and the fact that it is a 4 star hotel. We were told we could have early check in, and we only arrived 10 minutes early but the room still wasn't ready for another 40 minutes (30 min after the regular check in time).

Positive: Reasonably close to the airport. Easy to get to and from the airport. Hotel is very clean. Staff are friendly. The rooms are nice :) We had a one night stay, but would definitely come back again if we were to visit Sydney a little longer.
