Positive: Nice view, calm environment at least at first look.

Negative: Environment isn’t that calm in the evening. A lot of screaming, cars driving fast with loud exhausts,… the room was very warm and difficult to cool off due to the restricted space to open the windows. No air conditioning functionalities although it wasn’t standard room.

Negative: Not the hotels fault, but there were very loud motorcycles buzzing the town center until after 1am.

Positive: Fantastic staff who were helpful and kind. The town is really pretty and historic. What a pity the car park outside your bedroom window is a public one where the local bikers gather!

Positive: Good location and easy parking (for a town centre). Restaurant good food.

Negative: Not enough staff to serve a busy restaurant. Two groups and they were swamped. They would have known from the bookings. Poor service as a result with fingers writing down the orders, diners going to bar for drinks and refills etc. Shame as staff there were lovely - just completely overwhelmed.
