Positive: Excellent Country Setting with golf and spa facilities. Ample parking, Good Room with lounge area. Friendly and helpful staff. Reasonable Spa charges as well. Although a little dated the room was spacious and the bed very comfortable, so a good nights sleep. Shower was nice and hot so good to warm up after a day out.

Negative: Seemed short staffed as you did have to wait a while for restaurant seating. Being a Buffet service breakfast and dinner this area required more staff attention at meal times. As food areas needed to be attended too more frequently where guest mishaps / spillages occurred, checks and top ups were also needed more frequently when dishes ran out or ran low. So would look to eat dinner elsewhere next time. Also being the end of September the hearing was not on, so the room was a bit chilly. Limited channels in main club bar, no sky sports.

Summary: Comfortable stay and good overall Value for money for this type of accomodation.

Negative: Beds are quite uncomfortable and firm. Is a bit dated in places.

Summary: Lovely stay for a night with the kids. Very handy being able to have two double beds in a room.

Positive: Location is good and surroundings are very pleasant.

Negative: Hotel was grossly understaffed. Request for extra pillows took several hours to fulfil and required chasing and threats- poor receptionist was run off his feet. Similarly bar service was not great but better than reception. Dinner turned out to be a buffet which wasn't clear when I booked. As this was meant to be a celebration for my anniversary, the buffet was not what we wanted particularly as we were under pressure to vacate the table quickly.

Summary: Great location, misleading hotel details, more staff needed.
