Positive: The beds and rooms are very comfortable. The house is newer, with modern amenities, and very clean. Everything was well-organized and easy to find. The hot tub was a big plus, and the views were unbelievable. We were a family of 5 (a couple, a senior, and 2 grown children), and felt very much at home, and everyone enjoyed having their own space. Each of the bedrooms had their own full bathroom, which the older kids appreciated.

Negative: It was fine for us, but you should be aware that there are 3 flights of stairs. One flight just to get to the main floor, another flight to the 2 smaller bedrooms, and a 3rd flight to get to the master bedroom with balcony and hot tub. My mom opted to sleep on the couch on the main floor because of the stairs. The sink in the master bath was very slow, nearly clogged, which we told the host but unfortunately he could not take care of it until after we left. Our unit had a garage, but it was extremely difficult to navigate our Nissan Rogue into the small space, so we mostly just parked across the street. There was always space available, but it added an extra hassle to have to cross the sometimes busy street. There are extra pull-out beds in the 2 smaller bedrooms, but they could reasonably only fit a small person or child, and it makes the room somewhat cramped.

Summary: I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Positive: It is the best property I have stayed yet. Perfect for family of 3 to 4. It was clean and all needed equipment including kitchen items and cleaning and towels and most importantly laundry were provided. We stayed for 4 days and it was the best. Only 15-20 drive from banff downtown. Many other restaurants and convenience stores are located near this property.

Positive: Memory lodge is beautifully situated at the foot of the 3 sisters mountain in Canmore. With an amazing master bedroom that needs to be seen to be believed, leading to a veranda with its own jacuzzi. Every room of the 3 bedroom property has en suites and the decor screams boutique demur, whilst somehow remaining practical for large families.

Negative: No bottle opener ;0)
