Positive: Location was great and the staff very helpful. The house is clean. The stag in the restaurant was also helping with everything and food was good.

Negative: The property needs more attention from the owners. It looks very spectacular but when you stay and look close there are many things that needs to be located better after. The owners are more interested in getting their money than looking after the hotel. It sounds harsh off me to say but that’s how I felt. I really want them to see this. And think about it. Come them self to stay and see them self. It’s both the interior and chairs for ex. The refrigerator in our room is outdated, works for a minibar but isn’t.

Summary: Great location, very helpful staff but the property needs to be maintained. .

Positive: The hotel look good, love the outside design. Located on the water, also there is free parking cross the street.

Negative: I was on the upper floor and the window did not seal properly and when there was a strong wind you could hear the wind. Luckily, the wind stopped at night.

Positive: This is my second stay at the hotel. I enjoyed being close to the Ria and within walking distance of downtown. The hotel also has a good breakfast with many food options and a garage with an electric charging station.

Negative: The rooms are looking a little dated by now. My last stay was over 2 years ago.

Summary: This hotel would probably still be my top option for Aveiro but I would consider another alternative if it had a parking

Positive: The breakfast food selection was good. The room size was average (not big, not small) Good location, close to the city center, walkable.

Negative: The thermostat for the room AC unit was malfunctioning. The first night, the room temperature wasn't comfortable. It was not possible to set the thermostat to the appropriate temperature. The second night, the AC thermostat worked ok after I let the front desk know about the AC issue. The carpeted areas in the room need an upgrade. The window glass (inside face) wasn't clean.

Summary: My stay was good, but not a excellent as I was expecting for a Melia hotel.
