Positive: The room was in the “stables” however the name stables does not do it justice, it was exceptional. With all the amenities that should be in hotels, robes, slippers, moisturiser, hair conditioner etc. staff were extremely accommodating and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and dinner was delicious and not too expensive. Loved this place.

Positive: The staff were really friendly and helpful, there was a small mix up regarding the dog however it was resolved really quickly. The receptionist went out her way to sort us out and Ziggy was made more than welcome and he loved his dog treats. Loved the food and cave bar, cocktails were excellent. And Ziggy enjoyed the walk around the lovely grounds.

Positive: The staff were lovely, the room was a very good size and lovely decor, the bed was super comfortable. We stayed for a wedding at Barra castle, sad we didn’t get to spend more time at the facilities but would definitely come backᵕ̈

Positive: Beautiful accommodation. Lots of atmosphere. Lovely bar area - The Cave. Tried Sweet Cheeks (deep fried Mars bar). Very tasty, but not as good as Sticky Toffee Pudding, which we tried elsewhere. Our appetizers were excellent (scallops & caesar salad). Best caesar salad I've ever tasted!

Negative: Nice room but not the one shown on our reservation. I sent a message to Meldrum House via booking.com but never received a response. The room was a bit tight as there was quite a bit of furniture. No freezer in the mini fridge. Had to order ice through the front desk.
