Positive: The staff in the hotel is present 24/7 and is super welcoming, really nice, patient with our requests and trying their best to resolve any issues. I was really pleased! That quality of service elevate the entire hotel experience, in my opinion. I want to thank the staff again for their kindness and help. The rooms are comfortable even if the interior design of my room feels like it needs a little renovation or refreshment (check the photos, I am not too critical about this but some people are so...). I slept quite well to be honest, no problem as the room have air conditionning system really efficient. There is also convenience around as, for example, the shopping mall is just accross the street. Basically, all services I can think of were there. Just a note that to iron a shirt, the iron and table are not in the room but you can ask reception and they will show you were it is. Excellent value for money!

Negative: The main and biggest issue we had was the commute... We didn't know it would be that difficult to get a taxi to move around. Merate is a small town and the taxis are coming from either Como, Milan city or Bergamo, so you need to book in advance and prices are quite high. Please do consider renting a car as the hotel does not have there own cars or drivers. And another thing I felt was a bit off was the shower curtain. Even if feeling a bit dated, the facilities, bed sheets and shower towels were all super clean and in great condition. So I was a bit surprised that the shower cutain was not reaching the same standards. It felt like it has made his time and need to be changed. But again, overall, great experience and excellent value for money. I recommend if you can rent a car to move around.

Negative: €10 dog fee which is the biggest I have ever experienced and you don't know it in advance so then you have no choice.

Positive: The location was right the location I needed, with free available parking outside. Breakfast wasn't included but reasonably priced (€10)
