Positive: A very nice stay. good swimmingpool, good food at the restaurant, good prices for the activities. Also nice that you can use the bikes (there are a lot)

Negative: The service from the pick up. I came by bus, but there is no taxi there at the bus station. I had no clue how to come at the harbour for the boat (and the distance was 1/2 hour by car from there with a lot of traffic). I had to call the hotel, but there was a lot of misunderstanding. In the end I had to take a bus again from Futa (1 sleeper bus, then two times a van). It took me 2 hours extra. I wish the hotel would inform guests about this.

Summary: Nice stay, beautiful view at the river!

Positive: Loved the food, loved the cats. And pool was amazing. The gardens were well cared for and flowers were stunning. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast there was so much choice. The fresh fruit was great and the pho is highly recommended. The boat trip to the resort is an added bonus. And their driver went above and beyond, picking us up from Rach Gia. Then bringing us on to HCMC after our stay. All at a reasonable price.

Negative: Mosquitos .... where a problem but not the resorts fault. The pool bar was not really manned and there was no atmosphere around the pool. However this did not stop me being in the pool all day. Also had the sandwich board advertising the massage been near the spa then I would definitely have noticed it and used the facilities. Would have been nice to have a fridge in the room.

The pool is beautiful, with a great view of the river, and the staff are extremely friendly. Arrival by boat from the tourist pier adds a nice touch, and the lodge provides free bicycles, making it easy to explore the village and see the surroundings. I enjoyed my stay very much.

Negative: The place is a bit isolated, and it’s better suited for couples or groups. For solo travelers it can feel a bit quiet. There is also room for improvement in the included tours, especially the fruit-carving demonstration, which could be longer and more detailed.

Positive: Location is amazing . A must do. The pool is superb with active view of the comings and goings on the river. Very clean and set in a beautiful garden. Free bikes to ride up country lanes . Easy transfers across the water from the bus. But MOST of all the wonderful service from the receptionist who stepped in and helped when we were going to take an inefficient and expensive route to our next destination. She organised boat, hotel car and then bus service and drew us a picture of each stop so we understood. The driver was lovely and let us sit in the air con until the bus arrived. I am so sorry I did not get the receptionists name to mention. Thank you so much .

Negative: Only thing would have been to put the air con on before we arrived as it took hours to cool down . But this is extremely minor .

Negative: It can be noisy. There was a big group of people traveling and they were noisy during the night. Room not isolated well. There was no internet in the room. Some guests were also smoking and drinking in the pool which wasn’t pleasant.
