Positive: The home is very close to Kings canyon and sequoia and has good views.

Negative: The under the beds were really dusty, some kitchen pots were not cleaned and had mould. There’s also no Air conditioning in this home so during the heat wave it was unbearable.

Summary: It’s a good location, host is helpful. Home isn’t very clean and has no AC, not close to any atores

Positive: Great mountain home. Clean comfortable and everything works. Porch is great to watch sunset

Negative: The road heading to the main gate of the park is closed due to construction. This added another 20 min of drive time (total time to reach the gate = 34 min, but to get to any part of park other than Grant grove, it takes over an hour. Very scenic drive, but the unexpected extra driving is a factor we weren’t aware of and I’d have reserved a spot closer or in the park. Certainly not the owners fault but it should be noted upon booking that it’s not nearly as close to the park as one would think.

Summary: Comfortable and quiet getaway, but off the beaten track

Positive: Very nice cabine in the middle of the nature and close to Sequoia Park. The host was responsive.

Negative: No AC ! In the summer it was a bit annoying. It took some time to cool everything down at night with the fans and all doors opened.
