Positive: Great apartment with everything you need and very close to the center, but also quiet and cozy. We stopped here for a night after 3 days hiking the Via Transilvanica and it was exactly what we needed: a perfect hot shower, great facilities, tasty complimentary coffee and comfy bed. Plus, the host helped with the contact from a super nice and helpful driver who made our trip much smoother :) would definitely stay again!
Summary: Central, modern facilities and helpful host

Positive: To be clear up front, we are not commenting on the apartment listed here. When we contacted the owner for entry instructions he sent us the location for an alternative apartment. The apartment we stayed in was one that - by the owner’s admission - was used as an “overflow” when other properties were full. As it turned out the apartment’s location was much better than the one we initially booked - so that was great. The owner who met us was very nice and very accommodating. When we got inside it was obvious that some basic amenities were missing (e.g. no kettle; no detergent for the washing machine; no drying rack), but the owner was quick to go out and being things back for us. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was good.
Negative: The apartment was very spartan. Even though it had a kitchen area there was precious little in the way of cookware, utensils or plates etc. If you arrive expecting to prepare even a simple meal you will be disappointed. Similarly, while there was a standing closet there were no clothes hangers. Again, one just had the sense of being in an unfinished place.
Summary: Great location that with a few simple improvements could ve a

Positive: In a quite peaceful location, some 25 minute walking distance from the center, this apartment is ideal for 1 or 2 people to stay. It is spatious, with a big and comfortable bed. Overall clean, tidy and kept well. The kitchen was well equiped not just with appliances but also with basic utensils, paper towels, cooking oil, salt and sugar. So for our short stay we didnt need to worry about getting these essentials when cooking a few meals. There were sets of good quality towels available to use, the bathroom worked well, consistent very hot and adjustable water was available. The adjustable air conditioning unit was very welcome in the hot summer weather, it worked well. Also the thick curtains helped us sleep better through bright mornings. There were no issues with noise or neighbours bothering, our 2 day stay was really calm in the apartment. We communicated with the owner easily via phone or messages which was very convenient and helpful. All in all, it is a nice, affordable and comfortable place to stay for visiting the town and the area.
Negative: Since there is no elevator, walking up 3 flights of stairs might be an accessibility issue for some. It wasnt for us, but worth mentioning.
Summary: Peaceful, comfortable stay, it offers all essential amenities, with a communicative owner.
