Positive: quiet location near to Turnberry Golf Course and a EV rapid charger, plenty of space and facilities for 4 adults, shop 100 yards away was really handy and the breakfast rolls they sold saved us cooking

Positive: It has everything you could ever need it is very comfortable and spacious. Great internet and all facilities in the cottage were first class

Negative: The location information was misleading. The property actually faced out onto a communal area/ car park for the village shop. As the shop was open from 8am to 9pm that meant people constantly parking directly outside the property and looking into the garden. On two nights we had groups of bikers parked outside and sitting on the grass at the front of the building. It was constantly noisy. The only pub in the village shuts at 6pm, also the property is advertised as being in Girvan, it’s in a village called Maidens which is 8 miles from Girvan and has very few facilities, the only restaurant in the place was not dog friendly so the local bistro which closed at 6pm was the only option if you don’t want fried pizza from the horrible little shop just outside (yes I did say fried pizza).

Summary: If the weather wasn’t so good we would have gone home early, very misleading advertising,

Positive: Really close to shop and beach the little shop next door is excellent and sells some meals saved going out to supermarkets also amazing meal out at the restaurant next to harbour and there also is a lovely bistro at harbour so close to all and also a great beach and a walk along to culzean castle from here is possible

Negative: Really nothing not to like apart from check in at 5 pm it was a little late I'd maybe look into this for the price we had paid apart from this no complaint

Negative: Very busy location. Building work from adjacent property very noisy with skip directly outside the property.. Smell from oil boiler permeates the property. Mattress in master bedroom is cheap internet type with no support.
