Summary: - spacious room; long desk was good for work space or charging electronics - bed was very soft (good if that’s what you like) - espresso machine and glass bottled water was provided and refilled during stay - overall cleanliness was fine but I am sensitive to dust and had bad allergies/ puffy eyes during my stay so I think the room may have been dusty - needs more hooks or towel bars to hang up towels and bathrobes - booked “premium room with view of plaza de angel” but no view, only trees since room was on 2nd floor - no shower door/frame so the bathroom floor got very wet - noisy construction during daytime (constant drilling) - noise from hallway flows into room (can hear banging of doors closes, bottles rattling presumably from service carts - upon checkin, wasn’t told about hotel amenities (ie:gym, coffee station, etc)

Summary: Hotel is beautiful, very comfortable beds, very clean, perfect location near all tourist attractions, great breakfast buffet and staff was great and very helpful. Highly recommend this hotel. We will be staying here again on our way back to Madrid.

Summary: A Stylishly Located Hotel in Madrid with Mixed Experiences at ME Madrid Our stay at the ME Madrid by Meliá started positively with a striking exterior and a very welcoming and pleasant reception team who greeted us warmly on every occasion. The hotel's central location is also a significant advantage. We found our room to be darker than the online images, and the courtyard view was underwhelming. Additionally, the roof terrace is exclusively for the restaurant, with no outdoor space for hotel guests. A major problem we encountered was with the bath, which was unusable in the traditional sense. I had to resort to using the shower head to painstakingly fill it, and this issue remained unresolved despite being reported on the day we arrived. In conclusion, while the ME Madrid benefits from a fantastic location and a genuinely welcoming reception team, potential guests should be aware of the discrepancies in room brightness, the unappealing courtyard, the inaccessible roof terrace, and, most importantly, the potential for significant and unresolved maintenance issues like our unusable bath. The pleasantness of the reception staff was a definite highlight, but it couldn't fully compensate for the other shortcomings.
