Positive: The friendly atmosphere, the comfort and quaintness of the room, the extent the owners have gone to make their guests stay have that “homey “ sensation. Great location to all the historic sites.

Positive: Very friendly family who own and live in the manor. They allowed us to put some drinks in the fridge overnight so we were ready to set out on our adventures the next day. Great location.
Negative: Very firm bed. The family made us feel welcome but we still felt like we were interrupting their dinner prep. We haven't stayed in a room of someone's home before and realized, not by any fault of the owner, that this isn't for us. If you're not comfortable maneuvering your vehicle in a tighter space you may have trouble with parking here. It was nice of them to have shampoo, conditioner, and body soap in the shower but if they made them all the same brand or even sample-sized versions it would make the manor seem more upscale than that you're staying in a room at a family member's house. Less family photos would also make it feel less like we were invading their privacy.
