Summary: I can't recommend this hotel, despite a few positives. The location was excellent, the bell staff was friendly, and check-in was quick and easy. The biggest issue was that this 12-story hotel only had one working elevator for our entire stay. One of the hotel's two elevators was out of service, and there is no separate service elevator, so guests and staff all had to share the same one. We were on the 7th floor, and there was always a line waiting for the elevator. We ended up taking the stairs several times because it was faster. When we asked if it would be repaired, staff told us they were having trouble locating the replacement part, making it seem like the elevator had been out of service for quite some time. Despite this, the hotel never disclosed the issue before our arrival and declined to offer any discount or acknowledgement of the inconvenience. The room also felt very dated, like it hadn't been updated since the mid-1990s, and the bed wasn't very comfortable. At this price point, there are plenty of other nice hotels in the area. We chose this one for its walkable location to Pike Place Market, but that convenience was completely offset by the elevator situation. Unfortunately, because of the dated rooms, uncomfortable bed, and poor hotel management, I wouldn't stay here again or recommend it.

Summary: Srayted in July and felt really over priced for the size and age of room. Elevator was out with no sign saying it was out for over a week. Lines would get upwards up 10 people and everyone was quite frustrated by the waste of time and lack of communication about the outage.

Summary: Interesting old hotel in a great location. The staff was 50/50 - front desk was great for check in, but the doorman/valet on the day we checked out was not helpful and seemed like he didn't really care about the guests. Guests were pulling cars up to the curb, Uber drivers were double parking in the street, City buses were blasting the horns at everyone.... The garbage can in the lobby by the complimentary water was overflowing with garbage on the floor. WiFi was really slow and spotty. But by far the biggest issue was the fact that the bathroom was extremely small. My legs were under the sink, that's how small it was. Very uncomfortable. I'm glad I tried it, but would not return.

Summary: Alexis is an incredible employee, kind, sweet and very knowledgeable. She recommended local places to eat and gave us an insight of the area. This was our second time staying here. Sadly Savannah left, she was a true rock star. Do not get breakfast on site, over priced and sub par. I ordered the eggs Benedict on a croissant, eggs were over cooked, croissant was stale, potatoes were soggy, staff was horrible, ( We had to go to the lobby to get water). My partner ordered a simple egg breakfast too, it was served cold. Find a local place for a good breakfast. Parking is expensive, the valets are top notch. Very attentive, they even know how to drive a manual transmission. ( Our car has a manual transmission) . They are quick and attentive. We will come back. We will not get food onsite.

Summary: We were charged for a night despite pre-paying for our entire stay. It was not a pleasant experience with the front desk. Housekeeping would knock on the door as early as 7 am or by 8 am. We didn't get housekeeping on one of the days despite the room being empty. Overall, would not recommend as there are no amentities unless you are looking for an old hotel experience. Room is big and spacious but the bed is small. Location is great, walkable to many attractions in downtown Seattle.
