Positive: The room was fantastic. Really large and finished to a very high standard. The views from the outdoor seating areas were lovely overlooking the river and across to the vineyards. Modern fresh feel very comfortable and we got a good rate for the room, although the additional meal and breakfast put the price back to on par with others. Food was acceptable but not out of this world. Great base for exploring the area. Whether you here for the thrill of the Nurburgring or visiting Cochem the scenery is beautiful. The area is having lots of money thrown at it, virtually every bridge and building is being worked on. A place to come next year I would suggest.

Negative: Hotel wasn't quite finished in parts, very nearly there but it did feel a bit like work had stopped and perhaps the money had run out. This wasn't too much of an issue other than being presentational. A little more thought and a few careful adjustments and most of this could be hidden.

Summary: Smart hotel with views in a great location. Hopefully, fully finished soon.

Positive: We loved the location and the 1st receptionist that checked us in was awesome!

Negative: The rooms don't have a/c or fans. We were there on a pretty hot day so we had a hard time sleeping.

Positive: The room was really spacious and clean, beds are perfect. Hotel is still in the proces of the renovation (not an issue). Location is next to the ahr river, perfect view on the wine fields. A lot of restaurants and wineries to choose from in the direct area of the hotel.

Negative: Hotel does not offer room service or snacks yet, no coffee and thea in the room, but is available in the dining/breakfast area of the hotel (unlimited all day), also some bottles of water in the rooms and, wine(glasses) would be great (for a hotel located in the wine area) that said, hotel is still in the proces of the renovation and with the flood of 2021 in mind, I don't think that these are the most important issues at the moment so please don't let that stop you for staying at this hotel. Glad to visit again when renovation is complete and I am sure that it then will be one of the best places to stay.

Positive: Newly renovated to a very high standard. Spacious room right next to Ahr with great view of hills. Small balcony with chairs. There is also a large veranda. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Photo is view from my room
