Summary: I stayed at Maxxroyal in Bodrum from June 26 to July 2, 2024. Generally, the hotel is very luxurious, with a great beach, pools, gym, and many amenities. However, we found a few serious problems with our room as follows: There was a panel that divided the room into two sections. One side faced the windows and was very bright, while the other side, which included the bathroom, mirrors, and closet, was extremely dark with very poor lighting. We could hardly see our clothing, and the magnifying mirror was fixed, so we couldn’t move it to the brighter side of the room. There was a step a few meters from the window without any lighting or sign, making it easy for anyone to trip when stepping towards the window. The labels on the switches were black on a black background, making them difficult to read without turning on our mobile flashlight. There was no shelf for towels.
