Positive: Really clean , lady I spoke to on the intercom on arrival was really pleasant. Good location just a stone throw away from a big Tesco . Easy to park . Shared facilities were always clean , lovely public use kitchen with air fryer , fridge coffee and tea

Negative: Only two things that I could possibly pick at the door in the toilet doesn’t lock properly and the shower was only lukewarm warm.

Summary: Fantastic value for money , would stay here again and again

Positive: For us Maxismile was brilliant. We would definitely stay there again because it offered everything we wanted and needed and was within easy reach of everything. Although its on a main road the bedroom was at the back, looking onto grass and we could only hear birdsong, not traffic. The front door was a challenge in the dark, it needs a serious push to get in as there's a part of the locking mechanism at the top of the door which sticks out. All good though.

Negative: The door issue (see above) was horrible in the dark after a very long and difficult journey, we just needed to sleep and wrestled with getting in the door, thinking we were locked out and not going to be able to get in and I'd almost given up! Imagining we were going to have to sleep in the car. A very nice lady came on the intercom but told us there was not a problem at the top of the door [?!] -which clearly there was. And when we DID get in it was obvious this was a known pre-existent issue as the relevant part had been slathered in vaseline or similar. Also we weren't advised that 'the handle' has nothing whatsoever to do with getting the door open, its just a static knob to pull the door shut - knowing that would have helped.... HOWEVER, we'd definitely stay again 👍
